A large, nationwide study has revealed a connection between prolonged exposure to trichloroethylene (TCE), an industrial chemical, and an increased risk of Parkinson’s disease in older adults. The research, involving over a million participants, indicated that individuals residing in areas with the highest levels of TCE in the environment had a 10% higher chance of developing the disease.
